I bought 4 of these because I had heard such amazing things about Scrub Daddy (I had never had one before) and I loved that the gray color matched my kitchen and home so much better than the traditional yellow one. HUGE mistake. This product started out great, but quickly started to deteriorate after about a week and a half of use. The material starts to break down and not be able to regain it’s shape, causing the sponge to be a pile of mush and largely unusable. I ended up throwing mine away out of frustration 🙁 Such an awful first experience with Scrub Daddy… I’m so bummed!

I’ve purchased the gray style edition scrub daddies before and loved them. Blended right in with my stainless steel sink, so I usually order multiple at a time! However, it seems the material on these has changed in recent months. It’s no longer the signature material, it’s feeling more spongey and less tough, meaning it doesn’t work as well. I’m a bit disappointed in this quality change, since I never expected that 🙁 I gave this an “average” rating because the change in quality makes this similar to other standard sponges, taking away some of its special magic.
